Journal Entry Title: Chronological Order

Even though the living things disappeared from the world, time still flies by, waiting for new life to occur. The house in this story may not have any residents living there, but the time and the features of the automatic house keeps moving. The house moves automatically with its scheduled time. As the machines in the house move as their schedule told them to, the time passes by in a chronological order. Nothing can be out of place since it is so orderly. Nothing can be mistaken when everything is controlled with computers. But unexpected events may lead to massive destruction. Just like this house in the story, the fall of the tree was an unexpected events, which lead to the collision of parts of the house. The computer never knows and never learnt to deal with this problem, because it was unexpected. Only preventing it from burning down the house wan't be good enough, the house may not repair itself. As the time goes by, the house wouldn't learn anything from its mistake, the house will collapse entirely. It is just the amount of time. Even though no one is there to see this happen, the house will work the same way it does, the same way it did before everyone left.

  1. Hantine,

You haven't written your journal assignments for about a month. This is going to hurt your grade. Journal writing is required, and you must do it on the day assigned. You cannot make it up.
